Mercuur Taal is a private school, specialized in teaching Dutch to expats in the Netherlands. We have been providing stimulating language training for individuals and companies since January 2000. Our motto is: learning the language must be fun!
Our teachers are all highly educated, experienced and enthusiastic. They create an informal atmosphere, in which our students can learn as much as possible.
The driving force behind Mercuur Taal is Eduard Verbree:
‘After earning my Master’s degree in Dutch Language and Literature at the University of Amsterdam, I specialized in language training for foreign language speakers. In my classes, I’m not only teaching Dutch, I’m also trying to be your host who introduces you to the culture and habits of this amazing country. I’m always trying to make my classes fun, because I strongly believe you will learn much more when I teach with humour and passion.’
